Mother: it's the hardest job you will ever do. It comes with no salary, no training, and no time off. That is why Hearts at Home is so important. Founded in 1994, Hearts at Home exists to encourage women in the profession of motherhood. We do this in several ways including conference events, a bi-monthly magazine, an interactive website, a line of books, and other mothering resources designed just for you!
We know that being a mom is a wonderfully rewarding job. But we also know it is often a thankless job. Hearts at Home desires to change that. We want moms to understand their God-given value and the important role they play in society. We also want to give them a much-deserved pat on the back. More than anything else, we want women to think of motherhood as the profession that it is.
We hope you enjoy our Web site. Sit back, grab a cup of tea, and find out about an organization that can encourage, educate, and equip you to be the best mom you can be! |

I love a good fruit pie, especially blueberry. However, I’ve always felt like they seemed like a lot of work and sometimes (for me, quite a bit) didn’t turn out. This pie is a cinch! Using store-bought pie crust, you can assemble the entire thing in about five minutes, and it is incredibly tasty. |

Here is an organization tip that has helped me that I thought I would share. If you are like me, you have bags galore. It seems that you can't go to a women's event and not come back with a tote bag of some sort! (I love my Hearts at Home bags!) What do you do with all those bags? Well, you either throw them out, give them away, or find a use for them. I have put many of mine to use by categorizing what they hold. |
