Hearts at Home

No one is more surprised, humbled, and at times overwhelmed with where God has taken Hearts at Home over the past fifteen years than I am.  Seeing it come together has been like watching a puzzle being formed bit by bit before my eyes.

One of my early prayers was, "Lord, if your vision is bigger than mine, please send lots of moms to make this happen because I want to remain committed to being home!"  God answered that prayer with hundreds of volunteers.

This year one of my prayers has been, "Lord, show us how to meet the financial needs of Hearts at Home without having to raise conference registration fees."  Professional events like ours that take place in convention centers around the country cost well over what we know most of our moms consider affordable. Our commitment to meet your needs as a mom has never been stronger.  But, due to rising costs, our ability to make ends meet as an organization gets more challenging each year.

We believe God showed us a solution in our Every Piece Counts partnership program.

As I was working a 1500 piece puzzle, I recognized that each piece, seemingly insignificant and difficult to identify when separate, becomes a vivid picture when connected to the rest.
