Mom, Mutter, anya, ina, madre, moeder.  Whatever you’re called, the joys and struggles are the same, no matter what culture you live in.  Toddlers still throw tantrums, teenagers can be sassy, and moms still need answers.  ALL moms need help in their mothering journey.  (We know, because we’re moms, too!)

Hearts at Home’s international events offer encouragement designed specifically for the moms in that location.  We partner with local moms in order to provide culturally sensitive and relevant events.

Traveling with Hearts at Home to Austria, Hungary, and Germany was an amazing experience. The most important lesson I learned as I spoke and befriended moms from three different countries and cultures is that how I approach moms with the message of Jesus is crucial. I have to make sure that I'm not serving an Americanized version of the gospel, but rather sharing truth. The mom in Hungary who experienced communism just a couple of decades ago, the mom whose family member died in a concentration camp during WWII, and the military mom who is either serving or living single while dad serves overseas, all have unique experiences. I need to consider those experiences as I show Jesus and faith.
