1 ¼ quarts of water ½ gallon vanilla ice cream ½ cup of instant chocolate milk mix ½ gallon chocolate ice cream ½ cup of sugar 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip ¼ cup instant coffee granules chocolate curls or cocoa sprinkled In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add drink mix, sugar and coffee; stir until dissolved. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. About 30 minutes before serving, pour into a punch bowl. Add the ice cream by scoopfuls; stir until partially melted. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and chocolate curl (or sprinkle with cocoa) if desired. Yield: 5 quarts Note: Be careful to use decaf coffee if you serve this in the evening – otherwise you (and your family) will be up all night! Comments (39)
